Jamshoro bachelors, Hostel to class room.
If you see someone of the age around 20 but looking like 30 with dark circles all across his eyes ,who walks like he is stoned ,health condition like a  malnutrition  African kid , don’t mistake him for a homeless stoner , he might a student of a University from Jamshoro or a bachelor who lives with 5 other guys with the same physical and mental condition. Whose parents are expecting him to be atleast a Mark zuckerburg or Jeffery preston but also expect him to do a 9 to 5 govt job so he can grow a big fat belly and a balding head.
Anyways Jamshoro is said to be the city of cool breeze but the real beauty of jamshoro is its universities and the huge numbers of students who live here for study purposes.
The outback of students to and from the universities, lala’s tea in the evening, friends’ gatherings and the daily shopping of students is the daily routine of jamshoro. The numbers of youngsters in this little city add a unique charm to this city like none else.
If you visit any bachelors hostel in jamshoro on 7 am in the morning, you are likely to observe the breakage of silence into a range of different sounds(the alarms) . it will give you the feel of a wedding in subcontinent which is very noisy and disturbing, but we have made peace with it. Despite these huge buffet of alarms, 90 percent of the students never wake up on the first one , they all have a series of alarms set 5 or 10 minutes after the other.
After two or three alarms most of the students finally open their sleepy eyes , who are craving for sleep because they have only had 3,4 hours of sleep because he was busy watching some movie or scrolling through his social media news feed aimlessly , some committed lovers are busy planning their future, name if their future kids, color of the curtains that they will hang on their walls, all the night with their beloved (excluding me). So the very important 8 hour of sleep cannot be fulfilled.
Anyhow they open their eyes and think of any excuse to avoid the university for that day and go to sleep but the burden of 75 percent compulsory attendance makes them leave their beds and wash their faces , only some gladiators manage to take a bath in the morning ,otherwise many of the students bath in night so they don’t have to waste any time on unnecessary things like cleaning them selves ,brushing etc. They just get up and put their hands inside the closet and wear the first dress that they can grab.
After changing their clothes the biggest problem is the conveyance by which they will travel to the university because by the time they get ready , the points have already left . So you might see scenes like 4 boys on one weak bike going to the university. The ones who don’t have any friends with bikes so they have to travel by foot or take lift or auto riksha to the university .
Even after reaching the uni , their first destination is not the class room , it is the canteen . they text their bff’s and have a cup of tea, discuss about life issues such as how last night his beloved got angry at him and he had to pursue her all night long . after all these important life dicussions they finally decide to move to the classes ,so they can finally fulfill their sleep on the last bench of the class .\
Lets draw a little comparison of hostel life vs living with a family . there are pros and cons to both of them but lets discuss the pros of living in a hostel .
Hostel life makes your thinking and your behaviour more mature. You learn how to survive on Maggi and a minimal food diet. Obviously, you will miss the home food alot. You get to know the different “faces” of people when they wear their masks and when they open it according to the situation. You will get a life experience of adjusting with different people. You will be in learning or stretching zone for most of the time when in hostel. You will get the oppurtunity to serve different people at their difficult times (when your wingy is in hospital or in a great break - up grief)If you are homesick, you would cry the initial days but later you will “have to adjust yourself”.
You will face situations which you would neverhave faced while living in home with your parents. You will break ample rules for your own friends and for fun at times.
When in hostel you have your own time zone to live in.In hostel, at times you might be having unseen animals as your guests (langoors and dogs were frequent visitors in our hostel)You will learn finances and survival on limited money. There will be diversity of people with one “Baba”, one “Library”, one “Season/Movie guy”, one “Download Manager”, etc.Lastly, you will have the endless CS, DOTA, AOE games without any restrictions.

These are some of the advantages of living In a hostel now lets discuss some of the pros of living with your family.
Your home will have its own “unwritten constitution” that you need to follow at any cost. You are used to the freedom of coming late to your room won’t help you now. There would be calls in case you miss the deadline to be home. You will have to get permission to go anywhere.Familiarize your sleeping pattern with the IST else it will be really difficult. You will enjoy the comfort zone you would have in home. Add the plus point that you will get your mother’s hand made food served. You will have positivity and genuine love in the home. You will get to learn the various family liabilities in 1st hand experience.

What is the difference between Hostel Life and Home Life?
Rules and regulations do not bind home life; hostel life is bound by rules and regulations.
To be able to live in a hostel you have to pay fees; no fee is needed to enjoy home life. Phones, internet cannot be used freely in hostel life while it is not so in-home life.Getting up, going to bed, eating and almost everything is done according to a strict timetable in hostel life. In home life, you have the freedom to do what you want at what time you want.Failing an exam does not threaten home life, but sometimes it threatens hostel life.Boys and girls have separate accommodation in hostel life.  Hostel life has its own share of advantages, as well. You have the fun of living with colleagues.
We can say that there are many pros and cons to hostel life, but one thing is for sure that this is the most memorable time of a student’s life. We might not realize or appreciate it at that time but once we get out of that life, we realize that that life was amazing and how much it taught us. we learn how to handle different situations in life, how to deal with different kind of people how to adjust at times. University might shape our future, but hostel is what shapes our personality.
