A Developed Side Of Mianwali
v      A decade ago I thought Mianwali is just a rural part of Punjab province. So, I made a plan to take a trip to Mianwali and few months ago i went there and whatever I saw and experienced there it changed my perspective. The well maintained roads, houses, infrastructures, amusement parks and many other things which are highly appreciable and they also played an important role in changing my thoughts regarding Mianwali City. I saw the cleaness on the roads instead of any junk. They attached junkbox at every start and the end point of streets. The sewerage infrastructure is maintained so well and there are so rare cases of water shortage and Mianwali have the highest rate of fresh and clean water supply.
v       Due to the shortage of malls in Mianwali i went to the famous market ”Liaquat Baazar” from where I bought the traditional and famous footwear of men “Tillay Wali Kheri” and also the famous sweet dish “Doddi Ka Halwa”. Many of visitors buy these two famous stuff for their relatives and loved ones. Now i was done with my buying stuff so I want to visit the main attractions and noteworthy things of Mianwali.
v       So, I visited to Chashma colony. It is situated in Mianwali district near Kundian at the left bank of river Indus, near Koh-i-Suleiman mountain range. Chashma colony is famous for the well-known Chashma Barrage built on river Indus. Also a number of establishments of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission are there at Chashma, including two units of 300 Nuclear Reactors are called Chashma Nuclear Power Plant-1 (CHASHNUPP-1) and (CHASHNUPP-2).
v       The second eye catching spot is “Namal Lake”. Namal Lake is located in Rikhi, a village on one corner of the Namal valley in Mianwali. It was formed following the construction of Namal Dam in 1913. The lake is very beautiful and attractive.  If you are at Mianwali, do add Kalabagh, Namal Lake and Chashma to your list of top attractions to visit.
v      Now there was one question which was revolving in my mind that does this city have the aerial facility like Is there any airport in Mianwali? So, I got the answer from the locals of the district they told me that this city has an airport built near the old World War II aerodrome, known as M.M Alam Base MIanwali. Another nearby airport is the Allama Iqbal International airport in Lahore.
v      Day before my departure I went outside and experienced the Hotels and Restaurants in Mianwali. There are some good  hotels in Mianwali which offer various facilities. Royall Inn Hotel  and Hotel Shahzad are a few to name. Namal Inn Restaurant and filling station is a popular restaurant located near Namal Lake and serves traditional delicacies with an urban flavor. It Red King Hotel & Restaurant and N’s Kitchen are other famous eateries.
v      Mianwali is also known as “The city of Minerals”. The first name of Mianwali was “Dhanuran”. When “Sheikh Jalal-ud-din, a muslim scholar  came from Baghdad to teach the muslim teachings in this area, his son “Mian Ali” came along with him. On behalf of his son’s name “Dhanuran” was changed to “Mian Ali” and later on it titled as “Mianwali”. The capital of Mianwali district is Mianwali that was formed by clubbing Isa Khel, Piplian, Bhakkar and Layyah. With a smaller area and less size of population, the city is well urbanized with several educational institutions, sports complexes and developed highways and roads. There is a railway that connects Mianwali City with Lahore, Multan and Rawalpindi. It hosts one of the country’s major operational and training air bases as well as the No. 1 Fighter Conversion Unit of P.A.F.
v      Many famous celebrities belongs to Mianwali district such as our very own and famous cricketer “Misbah-ul-Haq Niazi”. Our Prime Minsiter and former Pakistan  cricket team captain “Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi” and the famous folk singer “Attaullah Khan EsaKhelvi”
Both Hydians and Mianwali residents are humble and sweet and when it comes to hospitality both showed their positive and great gestures while their guests. I must say that every one should visit Mianwali. If you want to buy best Kherhi so I must suggest the “ Tillay Wali Kheri” from Liaquat Baazaar. As well as people of Mianwali should visit Hyderabad for at least once in a lifetime to watch the historical sites like “Shahi Qillas” and the longest market of Asia “ Shahi Bazaar” where you can find all the arts, crafts, embroidery and jewelry of Sindhi Heritage. So my hypothesis is simple if we explore more cities and experience their culture and tradition so we can expose more positive image of our community and country this may lead to the foreigners to travel.

I doubt this topic was approved on about Mianwali. Check and confirm. Stick to the topic, make changes accordingly.  It should not exceed more than 800 words
Make it reporting based, information in interesting manner

Now the second main attraction I visited it was “Kalabagh”. Known as “Garden Village” in local language, it is a small town in the Mianwali district and lies on the bank of River Indus. It is home to the Kalabagh Dam. The place is famous for its red hills, salt ranges and scenic views of the Indus River.
The third eye catching spot is “Namal Lake”. Namal Lake is located in Rikhi, a village on one corner of the Namal valley in Mianwali. It was formed following the construction of Namal Dam in 1913. v      And yes if you are fond of listening to radio and tuning into FM shows, did you know that FM 93 belongs to MIanwali? Yes, the city is very advanced. It dates back to the Indus valley Civilization and was conquered by the Mughals back then. Along with a modern society now, the city has a rich history as well.

Saraiki is the mostly used language in Mianwali. Punjabi, Pashto, Urdu languages are also used in this area but on a low level.
This visit changed whole perspective of my ancestors place Mianwali. As i am now a citizen of Hyderabad, Sindh. I have to make a clear comparison between these two cities on the basis of culture, cast, tradition, tourism, hospitality and many more.
Both Hydians and Mianwali residents are humble and sweet and when it comes to hospitality both showed their positive and lovable gestures while welcoming their guests. I must say that every one should visit Mianwali for once in a life and see the beauty of their lavished places. If you want to buy best Kherhi so I must suggest the “ Tillay Wali Kheri” from Liaquat Baazaar. As well as people of Mianwali should visit Hyderabad for at least once in a lifetime to watch the historical sites like “Shahi Qillas” and the longest market of Asia “ Shahi Bazaar” where you can find all the antiques, arts, crafts, embroidery and jewelry of Sindhi Heritage.
