Fight Against The Climate change

Climate change is a change in weather patterns when it lasts for an extended period. It is a big issue of these days as it is affecting the world badly.  The pattern of weather is changing in a different region of the world, so the climate changing drastically. The changing in climate affecting humans, animals and marine life.
The main causes of climate change are the outflow of greenhouse gases, deforestation, burning of fossil fuels, increasing livestock farming and many more. Almost all the causes of climate change are because of human activates. Human are cutting down trees, burning fossil fuels at an alarming rate, using a lot of fertilizers and increasing amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.
The major effects of climate change are global warming, ozone layer depilation, a rise of sea levels, melting of glaciers and destruction of habitats for many living organisms and cause of many diseases. According to survey, the melting of glaciers is increasing the sea level. The ozone layer depletion cause many skin and breathe diseases. Globally, power generation is responsible for a high amount of carbon dioxide emissions per year which is one of the main causes of global warming. The intensity of seasons is more intense than past. The intensity of floods is also increased dramatically. The patterns of rain are also disturbed by climate change; the rate of rain is also decrease per season.
Social, environmental and economic impacts caused by climate change which are the great concern in developing countries like Pakistan.Pakistan has ranked eighth on the list of countries most vulnerable to climate change by the German watch Global Climate Risk Index. Pakistan is considered among countries that suffer extreme weather. Pakistan was one of five nations in which the climate change badly affected in 2014. The Pakistan Economic Survey has reported that during 2010-2012 floods over 3,000 people were killed and resulted in a loss of $16 billion. Pakistan is frequently facing natural disasters like floods, droughts, and cyclones. The recent studies show that Pakistan’s 22.8% land and 49.6% population is at risk because of impact of climate change. The dangerous diseases also spread because of climate change like malaria, dengue, and cholera and so on. The low mortality rate in Pakistan also cause by a climate change. The availability of fresh water is mostly affected by a change in climate. The water resources of Pakistan are scarce which directly relates to food insecurity, especially in rural areas. The arid and semi-arid zones are the most vulnerable because of climate change. The seasonal changes are changing sowing time for crops which consequently change the irrigation requirements which change the properties of soil and increase the risk of pest and diseases attack, negatively altering agricultural productivity.
The government should take a long-term measure for controlling the rate of climate change and fight against the climate change. There are several ways which government can use to control the climate change like more and more plantation of trees, use renewable power sources, not burn the garbage in landfills, check the loss of water, recycling the material, spread the awareness through the media, use Eco-friendly appliances, minimize the use aerosol sprays, avoid the misuse of fertilizers, use water wisely, make the power generation environmental friendly, prefer the electric automobiles, improved the energy consumption and conservation, building of dams and reservoirs, discouraging use of fossils, forecasting and managing extreme weather events, etc. If government follow this step so we can easily control the changes in climate.
