 In 21^st century, where world has set their feet on Moon and exploring universe and developing day by day but it seems our country is on a decline in strength or number or importance and it’s people who has lost their morals and beliefs in God and has lost or forgot the importance of their life for  themselves and for this county and they are destroying themselves and their families in the hands of fake street Pir-o-Murshids.

People of Pakistan are very innocent. Innocent is a sense that these people get themselves easily tricked by everybody. Be it external power/propaganda or their government or these fake Pir-o-Murshid. These people get themselves bogged down easily by issues concerning marriage,relationships,kids,career,finance, and black magic but this belief becomes a problem when they religiously begin surrounding themselves to the baseless prophecies made by these fake leaders and street side Pir O Murshids.

In result a lot of fake and unqualified people with big false and outlandishclaims and grubby beards living in imaginary worlds are playing games and wasting poor and innocent people lives ,time and money and people blindly embrace any form of consolation ,no matter how foolish hoping to make some sense of their continuing ill-fortunate and hardships and it is understandable in a way, that these people spend a lifetime bogged down by some serious issues in their lives..

When we hear about these fake Pirs and Murshids and their evil doings.We remain shocked not at those fake Pirs because let’s face it,they’ve proved that they are good at their job of faking and scamming,but at the people who happily volunteer to be used and abused by these thugs and then go cry about the misfortune to the authorities seeking sympathy and justice.

In this cause of brining awareness to people lives and stopping them from these evil and fake people and to grapple these fake Pir O Murshid we tried to investigate these culprits, their ways of treating innocent people and as we started investigating we saw many strange things in the whole investigation, their dramas , make overs .We started from some of the famous PirAmils and murshids in Hyderabad , A second largest city of Sindh, Province of Pakistan .These Pir and Murshids are well known in the city for their ways of treating people .
One of those famous Pirs is Peer Abu Salim M.Akram Shah , commonly known as (Current or HESCO Baba) in the city .

We started from collecting information from different shops near and far from his area,showing ourselves willing to receive Dua and treatment from this Pir but some of shopkeepers near to his portal were not ready to share Information we needed. They just tried to ignore us by simply telling the address and his time and nothing more than this while some pretended like they know nothing though they were also shopkeepers in the same plaza .After gathering Information about him we come to know that on every Friday he use to sit at his portal (Asthana) at Agriculture Plaza near polytechnical college Qasimabad Hyderabad where a big number of his Followers (Mureeds) gathers and start preparations to welcome him before he arrives .Soon after he arrives at his portal the strange drama starts and to investigate this whole thing two of our group members Saboor and Talha disguised  themselves as Qadir and Rizwan and tried to get access to his place/porta and as they tried to enter one of his men stopped our members and said that their Pir has not arrived yet and they can’t meet with him without taking  “Bayat” , An oath of allegiance and a solemn promise to become his followers and by filling up forms of allegiance so they could meet with him . At first our members were little nervous about what they were about to do but then they decided to go again and see things happening and this time they did the same and filled up the forms and after this they get access in his place where he sits .The drama started when the Pir Arrives at the door of his place and everyone inside that room stands up until he sits on his throne like chair and then everyone inside the room stands in a single line and after one by one each and every person starts from kissing his hand that he was holding in air but the thing was none of his followers hands were empty from money.In this whole time people were coming and standing in a line kissing and giving currency notes to the Pir starting from 500 to 5000 to their Pir and then they stand in another line on his left hand side where there was a person sitting and as each and every person was shaking hand with that person he acted as he is directly exposed to electric current and the quick movement of their bodies were like electrical energy flows through a portion of body causing a shock .The Pir was receiving kiss and cash from each and every person and just in one and half hour he almost collected 40 to 50 thousands of rupees . Our members were recording video of this whole scenario with their hidden camera and one of our member tried to know rather they were really getting electric current or they were just acting and he did the same like other people did and gave away 50 rupees ,kissed the Pir’s Hand and then stand in the line where people were getting electric shocks from that person sitting left of the Pir Sahb .

When he got near to that person he asked our member to look in his eyes and he was holding our member’s hands are started shaking his hands fast enough to givea quick movement to our member’s body and to win their trust our member also acted as he was getting more electric current then any other of their followers. People were coming and practicing the same thing everyone did and in last few minutes everyone was sitting, and their volunteers were saying people to sit down and look into the Pir’s Eyes.

Another Trending street side Pir is famous as “Dulhan Wali Sarkaar” (The Bride Pir). This Pir is famous for his bride make over. A man that dresses up as a beautiful blushing bride to celebrate his Mehndi in style.

Once in a while, we come across something on social media that makes us question everything we know. This is definitely one of those things. To get answers of our questions we headed to the Resham Gali where this Dulhan wali Sarkar is found. Two of us went inside the Allah Wali Market and at the end of that market most of the objects were of orange color as we felt this Dulhan wali sarkaar was fond of Orange color. There were couple of shops painted with orange color. We found this Dulhan wali Sarkar Sitting with his Volunteers in a shop at corner. We went at that shop and met with him and as we have disguised ourselves we told him that we are from Tando Mohammad Khan and we have heard so much about you .we have been to many other religious scholars but we still don’t feel anything good  so we are here to ask for solutions for our problems we are facing and to pray for us at first he was doubtful and he didn’t told us anything but from his talk it seems he was pretending to be a nice person who don’t believe in things like Pir o Murshids. He further said that he is follower of Khawaja Fareed Shakarganj. He didn’t give us a single clue about his doings but when we left his shop we saw there was a shop at our back on opposite side of the shop where he was sitting.

But we didn’t find anything we were willing to find but when we left his shop we observed that few people were watching us till we left Allah Wali Market.A tea boy was watching us and informing him something. We felt like he was knowing that we will come with this cause of exposing his real face but then when we met with some of the shopkeepers of Resham Gali we came to know that we were not the only group investigate him that’s why he is careful these days. But we didn’t stop our work here we asked some of the shopkeepers near his location they told us that he is scammingand they are amused that how people believe in such people who are making fun of Islam and earning money by fooling people. They added that on Kawali nights he dresses like a bride and sit in a dholi (Groom and Bride Baggi cart ) and roams around Resham Gali with his volunteers .People give him money and believe him that he could solve their problems, A person with a beard and bride dress and mehndi event themewhere people are dancing and having all the fun ,can solve their problem who himself don’t know that his this practice is totally wrong and unacceptable in Islam. Who don’t know that in Islam it is prohibited for a man to wear a woman clothes and acting.

We have got some of his videos on Kawali nights in which he is seen in bride costume sitting in a baggi cart, collecting money from people and in Allah wali market a dance floor is set and kids and people dance there. This is how he cure people spiritually, solve their problems. He is doing nothing but looting people’s wealth, wasting their lives and time.

Brutally chalking off victims of one of the most hideous and widespread forms of social crime as essentially unsympathisable. But tell me, who else is to blame when a Pir shamelessly asks a grown man to leave his pubescent daughter at his place overnight so he can “cure” her, and he agrees?

It is hard to empathize with anyone who is willing to lay their trust in men who not only look like they haven’t had a decent bath in years, but are believed to be in touch with divine, quite revolting to look at!

We then tried to meet with some of well-known Islamic scholars in Hyderabad to know why this violence in not stopping but increasing day by day as we heard new and strange things related to these fake Pir O baba and their violence every new day.

At Noor Masjid near Old Wahdat Colony we met with Maulana Abdullah Magsi, A well-known Aallim in Hyderabad we asked him about this problem of increasing barbarism of Pir and Baba(s) and reasons behind why people go to these street side Pir o Baba even they have seen and heard about their scams, why they still go to those Pirs to find solutions to their problems He told us that if we see the number of people going to these Pir o Baba are un-educated or less educated and are away from Islamic education and the main reason behind this is, nowadays people are always looking for shortcuts . Shortcuts in every chore of their daily lives and now shortcuts to solve their problems for example if we ask them to offer prayers to ALLAH SWT and recite Holy Quran so they ask us to give some sort of Taveez due to lack of time etc. So, looking for shortcuts, most of the time they get surrounded by these Pir O baba through different ways and then they start looting and plundering their resources their wealth, they are expert at their job of faking and scamming and people who’s already depressed and down with their problems easily trust them and this whole game of fear starts. People are away from Islamic education. They are not aware of how our Prophet Mohammad PBUH spent his life. They are away from his teaching. If people see his life and learn from his life no one can harm them. Allah SWT has said to people “Ask me! I’ll surely help you but If you choose someone else I’ll leave you in their (people) hands.

This alarming increase in number of fake Peer o Aamil and their violence and people beliefs in them made us to meet with Dr. Manzoor Ali A psychiatrist in Doctor line Saddar Hyderabad.

In our meeting with Dr. Manzoor Ali. We asked him about people’s attitude, psychology in this matter of these Fake Pirs and Amils and who are thetargeted people of these street side Pirs and Amils and how they work and how people get themselves involve in thesematters. He helped us to solve this mystery by saying that these people usually play with people minds through techniques and they are expert in this job. You will find many chalking on walls like “Pehle Kaam, baad In’aam”,Sacha Syed Sacha Murshid, Pasand ki shadi,badZubaan ko lagam dena,Roothi Bivi ko manana and by different attractive advertisements they make people fool and then earn thousands of rupees through them. These people destroy families,people lives.

Most of the people going to these fake peer Murshids are un-educated and they have little or no knowledge of problems and their solutions and before reaching to the right person they usually stuck with these people around them .Many families and relatives has stopped talking with each other just  because their Pir has said that the person who’s name starts with X-Y-Z or any alphabet has cast  Black magic spells on you or your family and then the person will think wrong about him and his mind starts making reasons for his doing even if there is nothing like this but they start hating that person from that time till the end .This is how they are destroying people to earning profit from these poor people.

As these fake Pir and Amils are increasing day by day and their evil doings are getting unstoppable, they are victimizing many innocent people through different mentally and physically tortures , raping young girls and women , killing boys , pulling out nails of people and torturing through different ways  government should take serious actions on these culprits and stop their dirty business throughout the country and bring awareness to people through different ways and  people those who are silent shouldn’t remain silent and they should start educating uneducated and less educated people and their near and dear ones to stop them from going to these fake Pir O Amils and have Faith in Allah SWT and only to seek help from him ,
